“Earth Bound” – Statue Update

Final name for this statue: “Earth Bound”.

Formed concrete pedestal, with inset block-lettered plate, poured and cured this summer: 24″ x 24″ x 16″. Statue erected into its final position last week.

Work commencing to finish the laurel crown, upper back and neck, left arm, hands, crotch (not sure if to be “significant”, modest, or covered up with a leaf… we’ll think about that), legs, entwining vines/roots, and feet. Progress happening!
