To Know Thyself is to Know God

We know that God is inscrutable: acting out plays of the greatest beauty and horror, within and between us all; the “Dao”, that which “loves and nourishes all things, but does not lord it over them”;

And we know that we are inscrutable, our subconscious minds, inscrutable, that very few of our actions are deliberately taken, that our conscious awareness is very limited: a one-directional stream, one object at a time, 18 hours a day, at most;

And that our subconscious, that which so truly defines us, is of infinite depth: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, we are this: pumping blood, moving muscles, digesting food, processing our deepest sensations.

What knowledge does it hold? How can we defend it from the unscrupulous, the deceptive?

Know thyself.

Refuse to do so, and someone or something will do it for you. Who would you like to define “you”? Yourself? Or some other entity?

And we know that “the knower” cannot ultimately be the object of its own knowledge. So as we seek to know the psychological and spiritual makeup of ourselves, we seek to know God. We find salvation in this definitively endless journey, this “perpetual destiny”.

“As within, so without.”

When you accept God, you accept yourself.

When you reject yourself, you reject God.

When you subject your God-given authority to the whims of inscrutable, vague, foreign entities, as said before:

“Soon as you know yourself, he will have known you sooner.

Soon as you use a piece, he will use the whole pie against you.

We are predictable, you see, on the whole, endlessly.

Sorry to break it to you, but the more you know,

the less of you the man can screw.”

Our “profiles” are made up of thousands of public thoughts, pictures, and recorded data, collected day after day after day, year after year after year. Social media algorithms process it all at once, know exactly which buttons to push, to weaponize systematic “divide and conquer” techniques, qualified by conclusions of abusive psychological experimentation.

This is “The Beast System.” It aims to treat us all as cattle, as livestock, “wrangled into pens made of Emperor’s invisible gates.”

This is an attack on our basic psyches, the deepest part of our souls.

But guess what? I have news for this “system”:

“He”, “they”, “it”, ain’t ever gonna know me.

It’s like I said:

“The machine is restricted logically,

but there is no limit to human potentiality.”

Give yourself the authority, and you give God the authority.

He will work miracles through you, as you work miracles through Him.

“The Kingdom of Heaven is Within You.”

Banish the demons from your soul,

your psyche,

take responsibility for your world,

“Know Thyself,”

and You Will.
