Splitting Shoes & Hairs

So I placed an order for shoes, just the other day, I guess it was last Friday, just before the show at the Makerspace, I tried on some new shoes. Mine are getting all busted. They’ve lasted 2 years now. Nice pair. Italian. Went to six different shops and passed many street vendor options, some of the best clothing in the world (and best shoes) trying to find a pair that might be, well, the damned best. That day was a shopping trip. Chiara and I; oh she had to have been annoyed as hell.

Anyways, so it’s been 2 years, and they’re getting all “tramp” like. Like Charlie Chaplin. Flappy but still comfortable. Quite comfortable after such a long time. A damn good pair of shoes. I’m still gonna wear the darn buggers, but seriously due for a new pair. But… well… I didn’t get paid til May… so I put them on layaway. And today (Tuesday night, that’d be) the old shoe’s lace breaks. So…

Good timing or what?

Oh but I’ll still be sad to see them go. But go not! Yet they remain. Just a new additive pair. Oh, I’m worse about this than my hair. What- hair and shoes? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiitt.
